R35 GTRs- Your Supercar Now Has a Tuning Solution in Michigan

This 2013 Solid-Red GTR came into BCP bone stock and left a completely different machine. Producing full-bolt-on numbers isn’t the most difficult take but delivering 600+whp results with reserved noise levels (stock cat back) and assurance on the road require careful tuning techniques.
First, lets look at the mods and before and after numbers.

The gains were very impressive. A neck-snapping 204 lb/ft of torque was gained with much faster spool up enhancing the driving experience. The horsepower department was no slouch either, with peak gains of 123 wheel horsepower, but over 170 wheel horsepower gains were seen in the midrange- where it really matters.
What brings this setup together full-circle is the added features of the COBB tuning solution. We utilize launch control with transmission tuning to ensure the best performance without over-stressing the expensive drive line components as well as COBB Traction Control, which is COMPLETELY different from any traction control you’ve most-likely experienced. The ECU-Based traction control allows for on-the-fly tuning adjustment (on it’s own, of course) to allow just enough wheel spin to keep the engine loaded and the car accelerating at maximum potential. The result is the ability to mash the gas in 1st gear and be able to put down 600+ torque without the car jerking and shutting down, or completely spinning the tires off. We finish off the added features with rolling launch, which holds the car at the exact speed you want in the exact gear you want allowing you to floor the gas peddle and build boost while remaining at a constant speed.
